As long as the ego-driven interventionists have control of the economy humanity will suffer needlessly. There is no moral authority for economic intervention.
The silver lining in this storm cloud is that all that the ego-driven interventionists are gripping tightly in their hands will turn into sand and pour through their fingers.
Hopefully the philosophy of classical liberalism will have emerged enough from the obscurity of economic ignorance for the Dark Ages of economics to come to an end.
